We The People March 1:00pm
It worked in Puerto Rico . . .
Massive protests forced the resignation of that country's governor.
It worked in Hong Kong . . .
Two million residents took to the streets and forced the retraction of the anti- extradition bill.
Why not here?
In solidarity with the "We The People March" on September 21, in Washington, D.C., Refuse Fascism Chicago Chapter will sponsor one of more than 50 marches planned across the country, with more added daily.
RefuseFascism.org is a national movement that will be participating in the "We the People March" under the slogan: "Prepare to Stay in the Streets until Our Demand is Met: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!"
When: Saturday, September 21
Time: 1 PM
Rally: Federal Plaza, Adams and Dearborn
Route: Federal Plaza, Trump Tower, Pioneer Court
Speakers: To be announced
For those who have stood on the sidelines, this is the opportunity to be seen and heard, to voice their refusal to allow our democracy and values to be undermined.
"During Viet Nam and Watergate, we marched, and it changed policy and history. Hong Kong just protested and got a heinous law revoked . . . Let your voice be heard." ____Jill Wine-Banks, Watergate prosecutor
