Saltine recording podcast Saltine's Newsletter 8:30pm
Saltine, performer at Berlin, The iO Theater and the Annoyance Theater, is recording her podcast, Saltine's Newsletter, live at Scarlet Bar in Boystown August 28th at 8:30PM and every 4th Tuesday of the month following.
"My podcast is the bastard child of the structure of Prairie Home Companion and the filth of Lady Bunny. Resulting in what I call A Faggy Homo Companion." - Saltine
In this fictionalized podcast, Saltine presents you with horoscopes, letters from prison, and classified ads all written and presented by her editorial staff of up and coming comedians, including Eunji Kim, Becca Slack, Dina Facklis, Mike Brunlieb and more!
Each show will have a special guest Advice Columnist from the drag, comedy or art world, answering your questions sent in to our Facebook.
Additionally, each show will include Saltine's Cereal: the fiction portion of the podcast where we follow the story of Andrew Feeney, an anxious, sober gay man living in Edgewater in Chicago trying to find happiness in an alcohol saturated community.
Episodes are released the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Listen to our past episodes here.
