Hunters officially closed on September 22nd 2013 and became Phoenix Bar also a gay male bar run by Progress bar owner, Robert Brumbaugh.

PhoenixBar: Chicago's newest premier gay bar & nightclub in the suburbs, coming this October with a whole new look and a whole new attitude! We are excited about many of the changes coming soon to 1932 E. Higgins Rd in Elk Grove Village(Just minutes from Chicago and O'hare). Stay tuned for the latest in technology, with our LED custom-designed dance floor. It's going to be something you've never seen before! Guaranteed! Also, many other changes that will enhance the human experience, such as 15 flat screen TV's throughout with today's latest videos.
