Statement from the Organizers:
Over the last two and a half years President Obama has brought about historic change for the LGBT community signing the repeal of DADT, declaring DOMA unconstitutional and extending key benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees, including LGBT priorities in his FY2012 budget, signing Hate Crimes legislation and hosting the White House Conference on Bullying.
President Obama has been in our corner. Chicago's LGBT community will show that we're in his with a kick off event on May 25 at Sidetrack at 7:00pm.
