Chicago Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot was named to the 2020 All-WNBA First Team.
It marks the second straight All-WNBA First Team selection for Vandersloot, who also made the First Team in 2019.
This season Vandersloot became the first player in WNBA history to average 10 assists per game in a season, shattering her previous record of 9.1 assists from the previous year, and set the WNBA single-game record with 18 assists.
Vandersloot now holds the WNBA records for assists in a game ( 18 ), assists in a season ( 300 in 2019 ), assists per game in a season ( 10.0 ) and career assists per game ( 6.4 ). She ended the 2020 regular season posting her 38th career double-double ( nine this season ) and 57th career game with a double-digit assist total.
Other members of the First Team include A'ja Wilson ( of the Las Vegas Aces ), Candace Parker ( L.A. Sparks ), Breanna Stewart ( Seattle Storm ) and Arike Ogunbowale ( Dallas Wings ).
