The Democratic National Convention Committee ( DNCC ) announced a selection of speakers headlining the 2020 Democratic National Convention, and new details about the convention schedule.
These speakers will join a line-up of everyday Americans. All will be featured across all four nights of the convention, which will air live Aug. 17-20, 8-10 p.m. CT.
Speakers will include:
Monday, Aug. 17 ( "We the People" ): U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, U.S. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, Convention Chairman U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, former Gov. John Kasich, U.S. Sen. Doug Jones, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and former First Lady Michelle Obama
Tuesday, Aug. 18 ( "Leadership Matters" ): Former acting US Attorney General Sally Yates, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, former Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, former President Bill Clinton and former Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden
