GLAAD announced that it will host a virtual ceremony for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, July 30, in place of the original ceremonies planned for earlier this year.
The event will stream on GLAAD's Facebook and YouTube on Thursday, July 30, at 8 p.m. ET, and will air on Logo on Monday, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. ET.
The 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.
GLAAD announced that comedians Fortune Feimster and Gina Yashere will co-host the virtual ceremony, which will feature a special performance from Grammy-nominated duo Chloe x Halle. Special guests will include Dolly Parton, Cara Delevingne, Dan Levy, Lil Nas X, Rachel Maddow, Kaitlyn Dever, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Olivia Wilde and Lena Waithe, among others.
Earlier this year, GLAAD announced that the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies that were originally planned for New York ( March 19 ) and Los Angeles ( April 16 ) were cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
