Musician Meshell Ndegeocello and spoken-word artist Staceyann Chin will be featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Edlis Neeson Theater on Friday, March 6, 7-8:30 p.m.
Ndegeocellowho has worked with artists such as Madonna and Missy Elliottis credited with having "sparked the neo-soul movement," but her musical palette ranges from funk and soul to reggae, hip-hop and rock. Ndegeocello will be joined joined by spoken-word artist, LBGTQ activist, author and longtime collaborator Staceyann Chin for a pared-down evening of conversation and experimentation.
