Crimson and Pearls Gala: Celebrating 30 years of Chicagoland HIV Nursing

Chicago Nurses in AIDS Care ( CNAC ) will celebrate its 30th anniversary: Crimson and Pearls Gala: Celebrating 30 years of Chicagoland HIV Nursing.

CNAC invites the HIV nursing and greater HIV advocate, service and ally community to an evening of celebration and community on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 6 - 11 p.m. Loft on Lake event hall, 1366 W Lake St, Chicago, IL 60607.

The gala welcomes a broad HIV service provider and advocate community including multidisciplinary health care providers, allies, service organizations and community members gathering to celebrate the milestone 30th anniversary of HIV nursing in the Chicagoland area.

The evening will feature gastronomic delights, dancing vibes, a photo booth, an evening of reflection and remembrances, and additional commemorative activities in an alluring setting. Cocktail hour starts at 6pm with a sit down dinner at 7pm, a dinner program, a cash bar, followed by music provided by a DJ and dancing.

For CNAC Board President Zyra Gordon-Smith: "CNAC is a wonderful organization for all people concerned with HIV to come together and share the depths of their experiences providing care and services to persons living with HIV. I am honored to take part in and lead this organization. I can't wait to celebrate the rich legacy of HIV nursing in Chicagoland, and share more at our upcoming gala!"

All proceeds will support CNAC's mission to continue HIV education, advocacy, and health community networking through monthly program and volunteer events. Additional proceeds will provide a nursing scholarship to attend ANAC's national conference.
