On Saturday, April 20, a town hall-style discussion will take place with Equality Illinois Director of Civic Engagement Anthony Galloway and Illinois state Rep. Lamont J. Robinson at Jeffery Pub, 7041 S. Jeffery Blvd., at 2 p.m.

Robinson will discuss his election as the first openly gay African American man to be elected to the Illinois General Assembly and what that means moving forward for LGBTQ people of color.
