The Joffrey Ballet plans to abandon the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in favor of the Civic Opera House in 2020. But before that happens, catch the Joffrey performing a classic story ballet with its 2017-18 season opener: Giselle. This is the Chicago premiere of choreographer Lola de Avila's recent adaptation involving love, loss and ghostly maidens who entrap men by dancing them to death.
