The 35th edition of Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival will run Sept. 21-28.
The first Chicago Lesbian & Gay International Film Festival took place in April 1981 in Chicago Filmmakers' 90-seat folding-chair screening room on West Hubbard Street, according to its website.
Opening night will take place at Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave. The rest of the festival will take place at the main venue, Landmark Theatres, 2828 N. Clark St.
