Matt Livadary ( US, 2014, 92 min )
QUEENS & COWBOYS chronicles a complete season of the International Gay Rodeo Association.
Unbeknownst to many, the IGRA has been providing an arena for competition for LGBT cowboys and cowgirls for three decades. Director Matt Livadary spent an entire year shooting hundreds of hours of footage, following fascinating cowboy Wade Earp ( a descendant of Wyatt Earp ) and Char Duran, a female bull rider, among other impassioned protagonists who live for the rodeo circuit. QUEENS & COWBOYS also delves into issues of discrimination against openly gay cowboys in the straight rodeo, the IGRA's heartening policy of making competitions genderinclusive, and how the larger rodeo community views the IGRA and homosexuality.
ANATOMY OF A LOVE SEEN

Marina Rice Bader ( US, 2014, 86 min )
This filmwithinafilm depicts the messiest of relationships: Zoe and Mal fell in love with each other while filming a love scene six months ago, but have since broken up. Now they have to reshoot
the love scene for a broadcast deal, and things could not be tenser on the movie set. Writer/director Marina Rice Bader ( producer of ELENA UNDONE ) brings us a lush, cinematic depiction of just how raw and messy true love can be. Zoe and Mal obviously still have feelings for each other, but can they set aside their emotional baggage and fears and admit that, with an entire crew watching? Even if they can't, how will they
successfully shoot this love scene?

Personal reflections from Diaz himself illuminate his charismatic character, augmented by interviews with some of the hottest queens, go go boys, and stars of the scene, including Jackie Beat, as well as singer and trans activist Justin Vivian
Bond.

JC Calciano ( US, 2014, 90 min )

After yet another bad first date, Myles meets his best friend Brody, a handsome LA police officer, for drinks. Afraid of ending up old and alone, they make a pact: to be a couple in ten years if neither one has found love. Ten years later, nothing has changed.
Myles is still being dumped on a weekly basis and Brody is jumping from bed to bed, wearing out his Grindr app. Two months before Myles' 35th birthday, they both realize that their arrangement is almost due, so Brody desperately tries to set Myles up with anyone he can find, but that proves more complicated than either friend had imagined.
