Friends of the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame ( GLHF ) host the 3rd annual Celebrity Bowl,

Sat., May 10 at Waveland Bowl, 3700 N. Western Ave. in Chicago.

Registration is from 10 to 11 a.m., bowling from 11 a.m. to noon and wrap-up from noon to 12:30 p.m. The Celebrity Bowl is the group's major fundraising effort and provides vital support for the continuation of the Hall of Fame.

The Celebrity Bowl itself is free and open to the public. Come cheer on more than 20 celebrity bowlers, including: Ald. James Cappleman, Ald. Tom Tunney, Suzi Arnold, Gary Chichester, Tarrina Dikes, Mel Farrand, Andrew Favreau, Tico Valle, Vera Washington and Zander Mander.

Friends of the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit, 501( c )( 3 ) corporation, which annually holds an Induction Ceremony for its honorees. Chicago is the only known municipality that so honors its LGBTQ residents.
