If only life really did imitate Art

The Oregon Trail is an educational computer game that simulates the journey of westbound pioneers. The original game dates back to 1971 ( Yes, there were computers way back then ) , but most people know it from the 1985 Apple II version. The folks at 1Up dug up their copy and decided to spend July 4th traveling the trail. As the game allows you to name the others in your party, they took George Bush and Jesus along. Well Jesus ends up drowning ( so much for that whole walking on water thing ) and Bush ends up contracting dysentery and shitting himself to death. When you stop to think about it, it's a rather fitting end for the biggest asshole of our time.

Good Lord! You really Can do anything with Photoshop!

'When the only tool you know how to use is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.' Geeks of all stripes use software in clever ways that the original vendor never intended, or imagined. Got a horrificly huge and complex maze you want to solve in 30 seconds? Why, use Photoshop! Just jigger the contrast, and do a simple Magic Wand selection. Toss in a few selection adjustments, and a fill and delete or two, and voila! You have a nice red line running through the maze giving the solution. It seems almost eerie, but it's really just a clever implentation of the right-hand rule for maze solving.

Felchlin chocolates. Suddenly all those pics of rich, dark, molten chocolate that grace the Web site don't seem quite so appetizing to me.
And just in case you're a Mary Richards that just doesn't get this, let me direct you to www.urbandictionary.com/define.php for clarification, but not from work, K?
