Chicago, IL — Center on Halsted opens its doors for another By Women For Women ( BWFW ) community event! Hosted by the Women's Action Committee of Center on Halsted, By Women For Women: Everything Old is New Again is bringing in some of the hottest female DJ's in the LGBTQ community for an evening of music and dance!
The event, to take place on the rooftop terrace, reception hall, and theater at Center on Halsted on June 13th, 2014, will crown the BWFW Hottest DJ. DJ All The Way, DJ Gemini Jones, DJ Kirby, DJ Kristin, DJ Rhated R, and DJ Sandra Suave will compete for the title. Vote alongside judges Tracy Baim, Angela Barnes, Laura Barry, Lora Branch, DJ Feen, and DJ Lady D to decide the winner! Be sure to bring small bills for voting.
"We're excited to host another great women's event at Center on Halsted, especially during Pride Month and on the outdoor patio." said Renauda Riddle, a Women's Action Committee Co-Chair. "Once again, we have great talent who are ready to celebrate the strength of women in our community and show us a good time."
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception until 7:00, with the DJ competition to follow until 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 before June 10thor $45 after. Price includes admission, one drink ticket, and hors d'oeuvres.
