The online wedding brand The Knot hosted a wedding for Olympic gold medalist and 2015 WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne and fiancee Amanda Clifton.

The Knot Dream Wedding brought together wedding professionals to create a personalized, elegant affair at The Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve in Long Island, New York, with 200 guests.

Delle Donne and Clifton were The Knot's first same-sex Dream Couple. To share in her special day, Della Donne had her older sister Lizzie ( who was born deaf and blind, with other disabilities ) as her maid of honor.

As a part of The Knot's Dream Wedding, the couple were surprised with a trip to Tahiti for their romantic honeymoon from Tahiti-by-Tahiti Tourism.
