This issue of Windy City Times ( WCT ) marks the start of our 33rd year in publishing. This image is of the first cover of WCT, Sept. 26, 1985.

Thanks to our readers and advertisers who have helped make these 32 years possible. Thanks also to all of the staff and contributors who have been part of this legacy.

WCT was founded by Jeff McCourt, Bob Bearden, Drew Badanish and Tracy Baim. McCourt and Bearden have passed away, and Baim is the only original co-founder active in WCT.
