Es Vive Ibiza 2003 – Various Artists (Base Ibiza)

This is the second installment in this series, named after the hotel of the same name. Two CDs filled with the best of chilled house and downtempo flavours. Included here are some familiar names such as Kaskade featuring Melissa, 'What You Are To Me,' Groove Armada, 'My Friend,' and Blaze featuring Amira, 'I Think Of You.' One of dance music's biggest club smash, 'Days Go By' by Dirty Vegas features an acoustic version, a remake of the Lil' Louis club classic, 'Club Lonely' by Craig Jensen and Overstreet remakes Gil-Scott Heron's signature song, 'The Bottle.'

For more information on other releases or the hotel, visit their Web site: www.hedkandi.com & www.hotelesvive.com

Brazilution – Various Artists (Ministry Of Sound)

I stumbled across this collection while picking up some new releases at Virgin Megastore. Capturing the essence of Brazil, this compilation series has now been adapted by Ministry Of Sound and continue to bring you the very best in Latin club tunes, combining up-tempo floor fillers and broken jazz lounge tunes. Featured selections include 'Listen Love' by United Future Orginisation, 'You Groove Me' by Jon Cutler, 'Pingos De Chuva' by Sound Surgeons and 'Only in Your Eyes' by Uschi Classen featuring the vocals of house veteran Robert Owens.

For more information and other releases, visit their Web site at: www.ministryofsound.de

Beach House 04.03 – Various Artists (Hed Kandi)

Another stylish compilation in their long-running series and it keeps getting better with every release. Included here are past dance floor favorites 'Diamond Life' by Louie Vega and Jay 'Sinister' Sealee featuring Julie McKnight, 'This Time' by Q-Burns Abstract Message featuring Lisa Shaw and new releases 'Moving On' by Miguel Migs, 'Back Together' by Hardsoul together with Ron Carroll and 'Feeling The Night' by Kaskade, who just seems to be popping up on many labels.

Verve Remixed 2 – Various Artists (Verve Music Group)

Continuing in the same tradition as the previous release, this compilation of legendary jazz artists, which include Sarah Vaughan, Betty Carter, Cal Tjader and Nina Simone, get the remix treatment by some of the best in the music industry. DJ's and producers, ranging from Gotan Project ('Whatever Lola Wants'), Fila Brazilla ('Soul Sauce') and Jaffa ('Black Is The Color Of My True Love's Hair').

This second compilation also comes in an unmixed version as well. For more information, visit their site at: www.ververemixed.com
