People are urged to join the fight to end suicide at "A Night Out for Trevor" Friday, Sept. 16, 6:30-10:30 p.m., at The Kimpton Gray Hotel, 122 W. Monroe St.

Out musician Steve Grand is slated to perform.

The mission of The Trevor Project is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people. The organization provides crisis counseling, resources, education and advocacy services.
