Chicago, IL - Corn Productions announces "The Vagina Melodies" Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, February 16th through March 16th. Sunday February 18th and Sunday February 25th at 6pm at Cornservatory, located at 4210 N Lincoln Ave.
Yes she can! Rosie the Riveter is back and even more ready to host an evening of fighting the patriarchy, menstrual cramps and tinder! Get ready to learn about current feminist/LGBTQ issues through song and dance with the best musical parodies of 2018! This cast harmoniously gives women the voice and the vocals, providing you with a relevant and gut-busting evening of comedy. And as always, Cornservatory is BYOB!
This popular production first premiered in 2016 and has been updated, rewritten, and reworked for 2018! The Vagina Melodies will span the gamut between a woman's fear to walk home alone, dealing with pesky Aunt Flo every month, and trying to search for the perfect dress with some decent pockets. Arrive ready for all the Les Miserables emotional song parodies. Each sketch includes a musical number that will have all genders laughing in your seats and chugging back your BYOBooze.
So hike up your skirt, burn your bras, and bring your booze as the ladies of Corn sing and dance their way into your heart and your… well, let's start with the heart. The Vagina Melodies runs every Thursday, Friday at Saturday at 8pm, February 16th through March 16th and Sundays February 18th and 25th at 6pm at Cornservatory, 4210 N Lincoln Ave Chicago IL. Tickets are $10 on Thursdays/Sundays and $15 Fridays/Saturdays. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cornservatory.org and reservations can be made by emailing corntickets@gmail.com . BYOB! |
