An all-star line up of prominent actors and musicians will perform Saturday night, June 10 in Chicago; part of a premiere conference of grassroots activists and leaders from across the country who will be holding a weekend gathering, the People's Summit, June 9 to 11 headlined by Sen. Bernie Sanders.

The artists will be on stage Saturday evening, June 10 at the Arie Crown Theater in McCormick Place at 8:30 pm following a keynote speech by Sen. Sanders.

"The People Speak" consists performances celebrating the often neglected history of the United States. It will give voice to leaders, activists, rebels, dissenters and visionaries from our past and present, inspired by the writings and activism of the late historian, Howard Zinn.
