That Guy

Hornishaaaaa. I once met a unicorn named Hornishaaaaa. She's a little inflatable slut you'll often see with Richard Streetman. I got all Hollywood producer on little Miss Hornisha and Richard on page 30. Can't you just see them at the Oscars?

Happy 30th anniversary to Hunters in Elk Grove Village! Three decades of delight out west. Conrats to Patrick, Tom and the whole staff on a job well done. The party on Thu., Oct. 18, calls for 1982/disco attire. I know I had a sweet pair of Tom and Jerry footie pajamas I rocked back in '82. I wonder if I can still slide into those.

Further congratulations to the Windy City Empire. Coronation 9 takes place at Charlie's, Sat., Oct. 20, with Jackhammer hosting the Thu., Oct. 18, Mr. Almost Naked Windy City contest and the Fri., Oct. 19, Out of Towner show. See the elegant Empress 8 Alexandra St. James-Gray step down. We tried to get it together to do a deep cover honoring the event, but it was not to be. Still love ya, Empire!

When it comes to openings, I prefer them to be grand. What luck, then, that Bonsai Bar and Lounge is finally (and grandly) opening this weekend. Pop in for some cocktails and comfort. Check out the map page for address (as always).

Got a hankerin' for some hamachi? A yen for yellowtail? Feeling that unagi urge? Purge the urge with the gentlemen of Asians and Friends at their Forbidden Sushi event, Sat., Oct. 20, at

@mosphere. All your chopsticks can handle for $25. FYI: The forbidden part is the naked dude off of whom you will be eating the sushi. Now that's a California roll!

And if all that nakedness inspires you to put some underpants on, for God's sake, let said underpants come from Egoist Underwear at 3706 N. Halsted St. Check out their ad on page 21 for info on their photo contest with a prize of $150 in underwear goods.

And finally, a quick shout out to all my good friends at TPAN. What a party we had to celebrate their 25th anniversary! Check out Kate Sosin's photo spread on page 12. And check out to see how YOU can help.
