Originally from upstate New York, 32-year-old artist Craig Calhoun moved to Chicago in 1996 to attend the
School of the Art Institute, where he earned his MFA in 1998. Much of his work deals with clothing alteration
where uncertainty is the rule and the grotesque displaces the common and accepted. Pants can be worn as
jackets, shirts can be worn as pants, underwear can be worn as outerwear, and most everything can be worn
