Sky semifinal tickets sales begin

CHICAGO — Tickets for the semifinal round of the 2016 WNBA Playoffs presented by Verizon are on sale now. The winning teams in the second round single-elimination games advance to the semifinals which will feature a five-game series beginning on Wednesday, September 28 at the home court of either top-seeded Minnesota or second-seeded Los Angeles, who previously earned a bye to this round. Games 3 and 4 will take place at Allstate Arena on October 2 and October 4 ( if needed ).

The WNBA Finals Champion will also be determined in a best-of-five series. The first two games are played at the home of the top seed, followed by two games ( Game 4 if needed ) at the home of the lower seed. If the teams are tied at the end of four games, the fifth and final game is played at the home of the top seed.

Group tickets for groups of 10 or more start as low as $11 per ticket. Individual tickets for the 2016 Sky semifinals start as low as $23. Fans can lock in a seat for every 2016 Sky Playoff game and save up to 50% by taking advantage of a playoff ticket package. The Chicago Sky ( 18-16 ) is one of 12 teams in the Women's National Basketball Association ( WNBA ) — the longest running female professional sports league in the world. The Sky clinched its fourth consecutive playoff berth and earned the fourth seed. The Chicago Sky earned a bye to the second round, which will be played on Sunday, September 25 at 12 p.m. CDT at Allstate Arena. Opponent will be determined after teams are reseeded following the first round games.
