Santa Speedo Run in Boystown to benefit Center on Halsted
From a press release

CHICAGO, IL ( November 27, 2017 ) — Center on Halsted is kicking off the holiday season with the 7th annual Santa Speedo Run in Boystown at 2:00pm this Saturday, December 2, 2017. More than 200 Speedo-clad Santas dressed in holiday cheer will merrily sing "Jingle Balls" before they take to the streets and bravely run one-mile in the cold, through the heart of Boystown Chicago, as 1000 revelers cheer them on to cross the finish line!

The annual Santa Speedo Run raises money and awareness for Center on Halsted programs that serve the LGBTQ community of Chicagoland. The 2017 Santa Speedo Run Boystown is supporting Center on Halsted HIV/AIDS "Get to Zero" program, a collaborative initiative that is part of the "Getting to Zero" campaign with the Chicago Department of Public Health, Illinois Department of Public Health and 10 community organizations and hospitals. The goal of the "Get to Zero" initiative is to eliminate new HIV infections and ensure that all people living with HIV receive treatment in Illinois by 2027.

Santa says, "Come join us to…Get Your Santa On, Get Your Speedo On, and Get to Zero!"
