SPIRITUALITY: Purrfectly Speaking

It is my hope that somewhere out there in the Identity community, someone is waking up to their truth as it relates to them and their spirit. Do you seek advice or counsel from a friend, a book, a seminar, a minister, a columnist? Do you take what you hear, learn or witness as your own truth? And if you do, do you then get upset when you wake up and realize that that particular truth, advice or comment didn't work out the way you wanted it to? Would you then blame your source or would you turn inside and take a good look at yourself?

The way you answer this question will depend on where you are in your self-development. If you blame the messenger of the information, unfortunately you are still caught up in personality/The MATRIX; you should always take advice, apply it to your life and massage it to fit with what's in your spirit. Not doing so will cause you to place the responsibility of your spirit and your happiness on another. It will also make you look cross-eyed at the source of that information if they do something that you feel they shouldn't be doing.

Placing too much responsibility on someone else takes the responsibility off of you. It keeps you from having to sit with yourself, face all of your insecurities; your unmet needs and desires, your fears and disappointments and it also keeps you from that one thing that you feel is bad ... identifying your needs, your wants and your desires and believing that you are entitled to have them. Where are your lists? Have you not created them yet?

The world teaches us to trust in those who we admire, feel are more intelligent and spiritually connected than we are. This is okay at times, however, some of us begin to idolize this person or deity, trusting their word implicitly at times not even bothering to think for ourselves. Even when they tell us directly to sit with ourselves and find out our truth, it goes in one ear and out of the other one. It is so much easier for us to just be told what to do instead of doing the work ourselves.

Well let me tell you what I think about trust ... I trust an individual to do exactly what they are going to do at any given time according to their spirit and their journey here on earth. What might work for me, might not work for you, however, hearing my thoughts might trigger something inside of you that will speak to your spirit. That's exactly what I hope it does for you.

Understand that we all have our life's lessons to learn, some of us are a little further ahead than others, however, all of the answers you need are right inside of you ... insight from others is just a way to get your thought process flowing. Have faith in yourself, believe in yourself, get to know your spirit and your clarity will follow.

Hey, I know you can do it ... I believe in you.
