SENIOR MOMENTS God-fearing pedophiles and creepy gays

Years ago, if someone asked me, "Who are the enemies of LGBTs?," I would have answered "Arrogant heterosexuals." If you ask me the same question now, "Who are the enemy of LGBTs?" I would answer "God-fearing pedophiles and creepy gays."

I've been following the epic saga of Josh Duggar unfolding in the news. People who set themselves on pedestals are easily toppled, especially when the chosen plinth is the Bible, an ancient book of contradictions and impractical morals written by fanatics. I do understand that everyone has a favorite book—mine is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland—but you can't force everyone else to like your favorite book. It doesn't work like that.

This is where Josh Duggar screwed up. While waving his Bible, Duggar denigrated gays while molesting his sisters and their friends. For those who may have missed it, Duggar is one of the home-schooled offspring of devout Christians Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who star in the reality TV series 19 Kids and Counting. Josh has admitted he molested several young girls. [Editor's note: The molestations took place during Josh's teen years.] As the story unraveled, it became more sordid and vulgar by the day.

Right-wing politicians, his parents and other apologists, suggested Duggar's behavior was nothing more than a "youthful indiscretion." Shoplifting a candy bar is a youthful indiscretion; molesting five children is not. It's a crime and a red flag. The fact that Josh Duggar has his own children now—and is allowed to keep them—amazes me. They should be taken away and given to a loving same-sex couple. He's obviously not a suitable parent. Jim Bob and Michelle parents are not suitable parents, either.

Whatever individual religionists think their religion is, whether it be Christianity or Islam, it is also a refuge for pedophiles. In Nigeria, 219 girls are missing after being kidnapped by members of Islamic extremist organization Boko Haram and distributed as child brides. As we all now know, the Roman Catholic Church is nothing more than a viperous nest of child rapists, with hundreds of priests being arrested for sex crimes. How much proof do you need?

When I see a preacher or politician speak out against equality for LGBTs, I just assume that person's a pedophile deflecting attention away from his own sexual proclivities. John Boehner, Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, Ted Cruz etc. All of them, I just assume they molest children … either that or they're God-fearing creepy gays.

The GOP and religions are full of God-fearing creepy gays. When an LGBT individual comes out of the closet, a fairy gets its wings, a rainbow appears, a new hair salon opens in Palm Springs and hummingbirds dance a jig in the garden. However, when an LGBT hides in the closet and campaigns against gay equality, then that person is a God-fearing creepy gay.

God-fearing creepy gays are buckets of slime who empty themselves into the evangelical cesspool and swim around with the bigoted scum. If you rip the face off a God-fearing creepy gay, underneath you will find a scaly reptile built from wires, spark plugs, hubcaps and old toilet seats from sports stadiums. If you see a God-fearing creepy gay in your neighborhood, I suggest you trip it up, spray it with RID and slap some sense into it.

The list of God-fearing creepy gays being dragged out of the closet grows daily: Just a few include outed pastor Tom Brock ( blamed a tornado in Minneapolis on gay clergy ), Tennessee pastor Boyd Holder ( allegedly stole $60,000 from his church for porn ), Pastor Ted Haggard ( meth-head and anti gay preacher ), George Reckers ( founder of Family Research Council ), California state Sen. Roy Ashburn ( arrested drunk after leaving a gay bar ), Florida state Rep. Bob Allen ( offered cop oral sex ), Larry Craig ( arrested in airport bathroom ). The list of God-fearing creepy gays goes on and on.

So I would like to apologize here to heterosexuals. I always thought you were the problem, standing in the way of gay equality. However, I now know it's not you at all. The enemy of LGBTs are God-fearing pedophiles and creepy gays.

FYI: If any God-fearing pedophiles or creepy gays are reading this, there are millions of us out here in the real world, and we're coming after you. That's a threat and a promise.
