The Oprah Winfrey Network's The Rosie Show, shot in Chicago, is retooling its show by cutting staff and moving to a more intimate space as it tries to boost ratings, according to ChicagoBusiness.com .
The show, cut approximately 30 employees and contract workers in the past month. It has also moved to a smaller studio and has taken out certain segments of the program, including the game-show aspect.
The show's changes followed the departure of Lisa Erspamer, who was executive vice president of production and development for the network in Los Angeles.
