Lesbian talk-show co-host and actress Rosie O'Donnell surprised Nip/Tuck co-star Julian McMahon ( who plays Dr. Christian Troy ) when she bared her breasts during a love scene with him, Starpulse.com reported. O'Donnell guest-starred on the TV series as a lottery winner who ends up bedding her plastic surgeon.
O'Donnell told news show Access Hollywood that the director tried to shoot around a tube top they made her wear, but a bit of the top could be seen in the each shot. So she immediately pulled the shirt down to her waist.
Nip/Tuck is certainly not afraid of GLBT-related plotlines. According to Philly.com, the show opened its fourth season with Troy's psychiatrist ( guest star Brooke Shields ) suggesting that he's in love with his business partner, Sean McNamara ( played by Dylan Walsh ) . He denied it before seducing her. Last season, McNamara and Troy enlisted a third surgeon, Quentin Costa ( played by Bruno Campos ) , who turned out not only to be bisexual, but an incestuous, penisless serial slasher, according to The Advocate. One reason for the pansexual storylines may be that the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, is openly gay.
O'Donnell is a huge fan of the series and insists she would 'love to do that show again and again and again,' Starpulse reported.
