Running weekly: All the Ways to Hidey Hole: Madras Parables by Curious co-founders Jenny Magnus and Beau O'Reilly celebrating 25 years of collaboration by exchanging bits and gags, observations and lessons, lectures and rants, insults and praises via text, songs and images; the acclaimed troupe Boy Girl Boy Girl; The Neofuturists with a new work by Chloe Johnston; the Rhino return of writers Sue Cargle, RJ Tsarov, and Jennifer Biddle; Anna Bahow directing a piece by Derek Barton; premieres from Rhino stalwarts Ruckus Theatre, Bruised Orange, Whiskey Rebellion, The Billy Goat Experiment,Sweetback Productions, Brain Surgeons, Realize Theatre Project, and Paul Carr.
Visiting artists include Mark Enslin and Susan Parenti's Performers Workshop Ensemble from Champagne-Urbana; Iowa's KellyAnn Corcoran with monologues by David Isaacson, Jeff Dorchen, Danny Thompson and Greg Allen; a new play by Madison's Ned O'Reilly; and from Kansas City via the New Plays Network a new play by Ron Simonian.
Special events abound, from an opening night vaudeville hosted by Crooked Mouth, a staged reading of a new play byBarrie Cole, a one-night only performance from Ian Belknap, and a lively panel discussion, to the closing night concert featuringCrooked Mouth and Uvulittle recording artist Stephanie Rearick.
