The group Refuse Fascism is hosting an emergency organizing meeting to "prevent the Trump/Pence regime from raking power," Monday, Dec. 19, 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 East 26th St., Chicago.
There will be a brief presentation of the call from RefuseFascism.org with speakers from various perspectives/communities speaking on why, "In the name of humanity, we REFUSE to accept a fascist America."
"Donald Trump, the President-elect, is assembling a regime of grave danger," organized stated. "Millions of people in the U.S. and around the world are filled with deep anxiety, fear, and disgust. Our anguish is right and just. Our anger must now become massive resistancebefore Donald Trump is inaugurated and has the full reins of power in his hands."

Sharon Sanders, co-founder of the Coalition to Restore Democracy, which was formed to overturn Citizens United, get big money out of politics, and work for campaign finance reform.
Ted Sirota, Musician/Drummer, leader of HEAVYWEIGHTDUB! and Rebel Souls, drummer with Sabertooth. Initiator of "Degenerate Artists Against a Fascist America."
Organizers stated: "We call for a month of resistance, beginning on Dec. 19, reaching a crescendo by the Jan. 20, 2017 inauguration."
