For the second time in franchise history, the Chicago Red Stars will host a National Women's Soccer League ( NWSL ) semifinal matchup, which will mark their fifth consecutive playoff match.

The game is scheduled to take place Sunday, Oct. 20, at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview.

Chicago finished second in the NWSL standings, with 44 points. The Red Stars head into postseason play on a team record five-game winning streak that saw them finish September with a perfect record.
