Pride poetry-slam competition June 12

In honor of Chicago's Pride Month, The Blackstone, Center on Halsted and StoryStudio Chicago invite the community to celebrate all things love this June during a slam poetry competition on Wed., June 12.

The event will take place on the fifth floor of The Blackstone, 636 S. Michigan Ave., 6-8 p.m.

Local poets, writers and all creatives can submit their poem to info@theblackstonehotel.com by 11:30 p.m. on Monday, May 27, to be considered for the competition. A panel of judges from Center on Halsted and StoryStudio Chicago will review submissions and select 15 entries to move on to the final round of the competition by Friday, June 7.
