Poppy and Queer Queens of Qomedy, an all lesbian comedy revue, has been on the road for eight years. Always returning to Chicago for more, the mistress of ceremonies is the indomitable Poppy Champlin, with Showtime and HBO specials in her quiver, she brings her bag of tricks and her hilarious Queer Queens of Qomedy to Mayne Stage Theatre. Three headlining acts; Jennie McNulty a powerhouse of comedy and improvisation with shows on LOGO and she travels to Iraq to perform and she is a professional football player - a glutton for punishment Jennie is solid as a rock. The other Queen is no stranger to Chicago - a favorite actually, Sandra Valls the Latina comedy stallion. Performing on Latina Divas, LOGO , Showtime, Sandra is going to set the stage on fire.
