Steven Ray Dobson, 70; of North Aurora, born in Pontiac, Michigan; former employee of Grand Trunk Railroad; passed away August 16, 2019.

Steven was an easy going person who loved to laugh, made friends easily, and enjoyed life. He also enjoyed collecting antiques and listening to classical music.

He was preceded in death by partner of over 35 years Leo "Dennis" Thomison, his parents Elden J. Dobson and Grace Nash ( nee Glancy ) Dobson, and his beloved Chihuahua Carlos.

He leaves behind his siblings Lanny ( Lucy ) Dobson, Constance ( Thomas ) Stubits, Nancy ( Gary ) Bracken, and Betsy ( Patrick ) O'Brien, a nephew and several nieces, and many great nephews and nieces.

Interment of cremated remains is being planned at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660 on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m.
