PASSAGES Jim Gray dies at 43

Jim J. Gray, 43, born in Fairbanks but raised in Wasilla, Alaska; passed away suddenly at his home in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood Dec. 15, 2013.

He leaves behind his beloved partner of 16 years William Liberty; his mother Cleo Gray; sisters De Cyril, Carolyn Carlson and Lenny Gray; brothers Joe ( Shari ), Don ( Teresa ), and Steven Gray; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, most living in Alaska; and aunt Lorraine and uncle Jim and their family of Rohnert Park, California.

Jim was the faithful companion of Bella the Chihuahua and Shiloh and Clifford the beagles.

He was preceded in death by his Father David Gray, brother Richard, nephews Justin Sieler and Ethan Bowman all of Alaska, and both sets of grandparents.

He will be remembered for his uncanny humor and for his smile, which easily melted the hearts of many.

Services are private.
