Chicago History Museum ( CHM ) will continue its Out at CHM series with the program "From New Town to Boystown to Lakeview" that will be held Thursday, May 18, at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St.
The panel discussion will start at 6:30 p.m. and includes a reception at 5:30 p.m.
Panelists Andie Meadows ( a queer femme photographer/activist/historian ), performer Lucy Stoole and activist Julio Rodriguez will examine the neighborhood's underlying social tensionshistoric and currentbetween the different groups of people who live, work and play in Boystown. Jason Orneassistant professor in the separtment of aociology at Drexel University and author of Boystown: Sex and Community in Chicagowill moderate the panel.
