Homolatte, the spoken word and music series at Big Chicks, 5024 N. Sheridan Road on the first and third Tuesday of every month, will feature Windy City Times contributor Jerry Nunn, along with musician Romeo Delta Alpha, on Tuesday, August 1, at 7:30 p.m. The event is hosted by Scott Free and taped for a podcast.
Nunn will be telling personal stories about growing up gay in the South and coming out of the closet. Topics such as religion, celebrity culture and bullying will all be discussed.
The event is free, but donations and offerings are accepted, all going the performers.
Confessions of a Nunn continues a series after appearances at OUTspoken!, Louder Than a Mom and You're Being Ridiculous.
