NewTown Writers recently held what turned out to be a standing-room-only event at Unabridged Books recently for the launch of the organization's annual anthology, Off The Rocks.

NewTown Writers is a 32-year-old local LGBT writers' group offering free publication, performance and promotion of LGBT literature.

The group elected Timothy Rey as president, Joe Conant as vice president and Marc Frasier as its new workshop chair in September. In addition, writer David Guarino is on the board as well.
