Howard Brown Health Center/Lesbian Community Care Project's annual "Garden of Eve" gala will take place Friday, Sept. 14, 6 p.m.-12 a.m., at the River East Art Center, 435 E. Illinois St.
The VIP reception (hosted by Ted Allen of the Food Network's Chopped) is 6-7 p.m., with the gala taking place thereafter. Grammy nominee Me'Shell Ndegeocello and singer Chris Bruce will perform.
Tickets are $250 to the reception ($300 after July 31) and $125 to the gala ($150 after July 31). See www.HowardBrown.org .
