Mika out with new album
Singer Mika has released his fourth full-length album, No Place in Heaven.
Produced with Mika by Grammy Award-nominated Greg Wells ( Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Adele ), No Place In Heaven debuted in the top 10 on the U.S. iTunes Pop Albums Chart.
Mika has released several singles, including "Talk About You," "Good Guys" and "Last Party." The clip for "Last Party" is an ode to the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.
'Next Jack Swing' remix CD out
French Horn Rebellion ( FHR ) has released Next Jack Swing, Pt. 1 ( Remixes ), a double album featuring previously unreleased mixes, via Ensemble Records.
Late last year, FHR released Next Jack Swing, Pt. 1, which featured collaborations with a wide array of talent including St. Lucia, HAERTS, The Knocks, Jody Watley and Ghost Beach. The upcoming album features mixes from Justin Faust, Blende, The Soundmen, John J-C Carr, Autograf, AIMES, Le Chev, JD Samson and more.
FHR is Robert and David Perlick-Molinari, two Brooklyn-based brothers who were born and raised in Milwaukee.
Two Chicago box sets to cover 1969-2008
On July 10, Rhino will release two box sets featuring the band Chicago: The Studio Albums 1969-1978 and The Studio Albums 1979-2008.
Chicago recorded 20 studio albums between 1969 and 2008.
Highlights from the first boxed set include the four consecutive number one albums the band released in three years: Chicago V, Chicago VI, Chicago VII and Chicago VIII. Among the band's top-10 hits are "Hard Habit to Break," "You're the Inspiration" and "Saturday in the Park."
The collections both feature the most recently reissued versions of albums with remastered sound and bonus tracks. Both sets will be available on July 10 for $79.98 each.
