Incidentally, La La Land was not eligible for these awards, which set a budget cutoff of $20 million.
Moonlight won for best feature, best director ( Barry Jenkins ), screenplay, cinematography and editing. The film was also awarded the Spirits' honorary Robert Altman Award, given to Jenkins, the cast and producers.
Elle's Isabelle Huppert won for best actress, while Casey Affleck was named best actor for his role in Manchester by the Sea. The horror movie The Witch was the only other multiple victor, for best first feature and best first screenplay.
