The Cook County judicial campaign of Michael McHale has won the endorsement of the Cook County Democratic Party.
Recently, 'slating' day was held. On that day, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, the political leaders of Chicago's 50 wards and 30 suburban townships decided which lawyers run with their blessing for Cook County Circuit Court. Eight committeemen endorsed McHale, including two state senators who say his help was essential in passing the gay-rights bill that Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed in January.
The primary is March 21, 2006.
