At the Geneva ( Ill. ) City Council meeting, Mayor Kevin Burns recently criticized people who posted anti-gay rainbow signs on city-owned utility poles, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
The signage was similar to the LGBT-supportive rainbow signs asking "Got Love?" that are posted at a few homes as well as the First Congregational Church of Geneva.
In part, Burns said, "I personally removed a signand I know our police officers have removed many more. ... I am not intimidated. Geneva, my hometown, is not intimidated."
