Jerri Ann Henrythe first woman executive director of the Log Cabin Republicanshas resigned following the group's controversial endorsement of President Donald Trump for the 2020 election, Advocate.com reported.
"The final date of her employment is undetermined at this time," organization spokesperson Charles Moran told The Washington Blade, in confirming Henry's resignation. "The board's executive committee will proceed with an orderly transition to ensure nothing falls through the cracks."
A Washington Post op-ed about the endorsement, penned by Log Cabin Chair Robert Kabel and Vice Chair Jill Homan, conspicuously left Henry off the byline.
