On the last day of Pride Month, rapper Lil Nas Xwho has been everywhere, thanks to "Old Town Road," his duet with country singer Billy Ray Cyrusposted a tweet that many interpreted as him coming out of the closet as gay, TheGrio.com noted.
"some of y'all already know, some of y'all don't care, some of y'all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y'all to listen closely to c7osure," he posted, with a rainbow emoji. He was quoting his newest song, "c7osure."
People are debating if the rapper actually confirmed that he is gay or if he was just showing support for the LGBTQ community.
The duet by Cyrus and Nas ( born Montero Lamar Hill ) has spent 12 weeks at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
