The American Library Association ( ALA ) and hundreds of libraries will celebrate June 2017 as GLBT Book Month, a nationwide celebration of the authors and writings that reflect the lives and experiences of the LGBT community.

Throughout GLBT Book Month™ libraries across the country will highlight their collections as part of month-long activities culminating with activities at ALA Annual Conference in Chicago, including the presentation of the 2017 Stonewall Book Awards, the longest enduring GLBT Awards.
