Chicago, IL — Pride Films and Plays is delighted to present its fourth installment of LezFest; a one-night variety show which features lesbian and genderqueer performers through music, movement, spoken word, storytelling, and stand-up comedy. LezFest IV is produced by PFP company member Carolyn Reynolds and is directed by Patrice Foster and will feature exciting new talent as well as some past performers who have helped make this event a sold-out success three shows running.
Performers in LezFest IV include Ali Hoefnagel, Lauren Sivak, Avi Roque, Tien Tran, Niki Gee, Alex Dauphin, Mia Vivens, Riley Mondragon, Jessica Paul, Ana Martinez Medina, Black Heaven, and Goddess Warrior.

LezFest serves as a fundraiser for PFP's LezPlay programming, which supports lesbian artists and features lesbian characters and themes. The Winner of PFP's LezPlay contest in 2015 was Resolution by Nancy Nyman and Heather McNama. Resolution will make its fully staged world premiere this fall and will be directed by Diana Raiselis.
PFP's LezPlay Incubator meets on the first Sunday of each month and all artists interested in participating in the development of new lesbian work are invited to attend. Email lezplaypfp@gmail.com for more information.
PFP's LezPlay weekend is September 2016 at the Center on Halsted and celebrates works for both the stage and screen written by women with lesbian characters or themes.

The year of main productions will conclude with the world premiere of Resolution, by Heather McNama and Nancy Nyman, winner of PFP's 2015 LezPlay Contest, at Rivendell October 20 to November 20.
In addition, our script and screenplay development programs continue throughout the year at Center on Halsted, including this weekend's Gay Play Weekend each spring, LezPlay ( October 7-9 ) featuring plays and screenplays written by women with lesbian characters or themes, and Gay Film Weekend ( November 11-13 ) featuring LGBTQ+ screenplays and screenings.
Another special events include a concert staging of A History of Summer by Adam Mathias and Jonathan Monro June 28 and 29 at Theater Wit.
