San Francisco ( March 17, 2015 ) - One week after The Kinsey Sicks announced a month-long campaign to raise $24,500 to attend and conquer the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, they achieved their goal. The campaign was highlighted on Kickstarter's front page.
Fans have until March 26 to contribute. Participating in The Fringe will still cost the gals approximately $16,000 more than they have raised, but it looks like Scotland will soon be subjected to hilarious four-part a cappella harmonies and comedic subversiveness in glorious drag by America's longest-lasting out-of-the-closet professional performing group.
With additional support, the group announced some important goals to increase the group's visibility and their trademark take-no-prisoners satire and social critique at the festival. The group's key goal: to enable a gutsy, boundary-breaking, wildly original, unapologetically out and progressive drag a cappella quartet to have a shot at breaking into the international arts market and shaking things up around the world.
Additional funds will also help fund an ambitious and exciting project to follow the festival the group's 9th album, tentatively titled "Eight is Enough"!

As the group notes: "Your contribution will not only help America get rid of us for the entire month of August, but will also guarantee that you will be forever shunned by the people of Scotland!"
